installment three...the birthdays continue

Matthew kept the birthday ball rolling with his 5th birthday on July 2nd. It was preceeded by Paige's XXXX (age redacted) birthday on the 1st. By the 3rd we were cooked - but not enough to keep us from heading to NH for the 4th of July holiday where the kids got to ride in the small town parade and watch fireworks from the bow of a boat. Below are a number of pictures from Matthew's birthday and NH.

Matthew's birthday party consisted of a couple of slip and slides and a huge sheetcake with obscene amounts of frosting on top - just the way we like it!

Matthew and Brent posing for a picture just before Matthew opened a few presents from his parents and siblings. With the opening of presents hanging in the balance, this was about the only time we could get the boys to hold still for a photo. Apparently getting them to look at the camera and smile all at the same time is out of reach.

Again, we working on all looking AND smiling at the camera at the same time, but we don't quite have it down.

Emily's 1st birthday was in March, but that doesn't mean she doesn't get a few column inches of her own. She loves the swings and especially loves anyone patient enough to push her and push her and push her.
