A couple of fun pictures from family activities this fall.
A family picture from Mary & Erik's wedding reception. I am happy to point out that Matthew has followed in his dad's footsteps, who ditched the wingtips for Tevas at Julie & Ryan's wedding reception, by abandoning his shoes and running around barefoot all night.
Fall lasted for months and the kids took full advantage to play each day in the leaves next door. Our neighbors were kind enough not to rake up their leaves all season.

The best thing to come out of Halloween, other than the candy that eventually found its way onto gingerbread houses, was that it marked the turning point in Emily's speaking. Finally there was something worth talking about and she relented by spurting out "Thank You!" to anyone who gave her candy.
