Today, we were trying to catch squirrels. On the year, we have caught one big one but today their children came out to play, and they sure did outsmart us. Each of the young squirrels went in the trap, ate some of the bait, and left. The war is on!!
If you see, there are three young squirrels around one of mom's new plants. They will be in Tanner Park soon....
I came so close to getting two squirrels with one cracker, and yet, their young minds out smarted me and the didn't go far enough in to trip the trap. I was so frustrated!
