An excellent job was done covering grandpa's story here in the article, with the slight exception that they say he lost 8 soldiers along with Lt Brown that night, when it was really just Lt Brown. Other than that it's well done, & even puts a positive light on the church. The lady to grandpa's right is Patricia, the mayor of Le Tronquay. She's got two delightful children and doesn't drink alcohol! Very rare to find a French non-mormon that passes on alcohol. She was very kind and quite impressive in her remarks about grandpa. The man standing up was a green beret for the French Legion and sang an amazing rendition of the French National Anthem, "La Marseillaise". We hope to have some video of this occasion soon :-)
